Resource Scheduler

 

Key responsibilities for this position are:

 

  • Creating and managing high quality project work plans, with associated schedule and resource management components, to support effective project management for Ensemble’s clients,
  • Implementing the principles and tools of the Critical Chain Project Management methodology to design and execute project schedule for Ensemble’s clients,
  • Implementing Critical Chain Project Management software, specifically the Concerto Software and related software packages, to support effective schedule and resource management in the context of clients’ programmes of work,
  • Coaching and Mentoring Ensemble’s clients’ designated personnel in the implementation of Critical Chain Project Management and use of the Concerto software and associated packages,
  • Building enduring relationships with Ensemble's key clients, through delivery of high-quality engagements and sound commercial practices,
  • Keeping abreast of leading knowledge in the area of Critical Chain Project Management and other TOC-related methodologies, through participation in appropriate networks, forums and conferences, in Australia and overseas,
  • Maintaining strong operational and strategic networks with clients and other Theory of Constraint experts, in Australia and overseas,
  • Maintaining and enhancing knowledge related to Ensemble’s core business,
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of Ensemble’s training offerings and marketing efforts, specifically as it relates to the implementation of the Theory of Constraint principles.

 

Key requirements:

 

  • Experience in the implementation of innovative project management solutions in complex organisational settings,
  • Experience in the use of Project Management software, e.g. MS Project, Primavera, others,
  • Experience in the implementation of software on servers in Windows environments, and high proficiency with common software tools (e.g. office suite, project management) in Windows environments,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability,
  • Strong client service ethic and commercial acumen,
  • Strong ability to work in a close team context, as well as to work autonomously in complex contexts.

  • Relationship or interpersonal skills

 

Master Scheduler

 

Key responsibilities of the position:


  • Implementing the principles and tools of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) to support Ensemble’s clients and staff, specifically the Critical Chain Project Management methodology,
  • Creating and managing high quality project work plans, with associated schedule and resource management components, to support effective project portfolio management for Ensemble’s clients,
  • Implementing Critical Chain Project Management software, specifically the Concerto Software and related software packages, to support effective schedule and resource management in the context of clients’ programmes of work,
  • Delivering training to Ensemble’s clients in the area of Critical Chain Project Management and the use of Critical Chain software,
  • Building enduring relationships with Ensemble's key clients, through delivery of high-quality engagements and sound commercial practices,
  • Keeping abreast of leading knowledge in the area of Critical Chain Project Management and other TOC-related methodologies, through participation in appropriate networks, forums and conferences, in Australia and overseas,
  • Maintaining strong operational and strategic networks with clients and other Theory of Constraint experts, in Australia and overseas,
  • Maintaining and enhancing knowledge related to Ensemble’s core business,
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of Ensemble’s training offerings and marketing efforts, specifically as it relates to the implementation of the Theory of Constraint principles.

 

Key requirements for the position:


  • Experience in the implementation of innovative project management solutions in complex organisational settings,
  • Experience in delivering services to clients in complex operational environments,
  • Experience in the implementation of software on servers in Windows environments, and high proficiency with common software tools (e.g. office suite, project management) in Windows environments (Linux desirable),
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability,
  • Strong client service ethic and commercial acumen,
  • Strong ability to work in a close team context, as well as to work autonomously in complex contexts.

We are actively looking for the following roles:

Resource Scheduler (Project Management Consultant) - Melbourne

 

Your new role will focus on delivering quality planning and execution management support for our client’s projects. To enable this outcome, you’ll develop and maintain detail project schedules and resourcing plans, you’ll partner with project stakeholders to develop solutions and you’ll implement our methodology, software and tools. Additionally, you’ll be involved in the facilitation of project meetings and act as a liaison between technical solutions and our clientele.
