Since the introduction of Critical Chain and Concerto, the business has met its returns target on all new product delivered to market.

The Problem

Unacceptable level of product were being returned by consumers. Ensemble was asked to co-review the new product development and quality processes and to find out how the levels of returns could be reduced to an acceptable level.

The Solution

Using TOC principles, the method of Critical Chain and the Concerto tool, the development process was re-engineered to provide forward-focusing signals that facilitate the early mitigation of development risk. Parrallel quality initiatives ensured a supportive environment focused on delivery of the goal.
