Philip has substantial experience in both the private and government sectors, having followed a career in the Diplomatic Corps, where he was involved in several areas, especially in the multilateral arena, including the United Nations in New York, the EU and others. He was engaged in project coordination for the Foreign Aid Programme in several African countries. His last posting was as Minister in the South African Embassy in Moscow.
After retiring from the Diplomatic Service, Philip became engaged in management consulting, concentrating mainly on two areas, namely constraint management, with specific focus on Critical Chain Execution Management, and community building and leadership within modern organisations. He has been involved with Critical Chain Execution Management for the last decade, participating internationally not only in implementations for large corporates such as Intel, First Solar and DenelSaab but also for SME’s.
Philip lectured at post-graduate level at the University of Pretoria, where he presented the Critical Chain Project Management module of the Advanced Programme for Project Management (APPM).
He has BSc in Building Technology and a Masters in Business Leadership.
Philip is married and has three children.
